Can I go through FasTrak without my tag?
Except for the Golden Gate Bridge (see below), if you pass through a bridge toll lane without a valid FasTrak and without paying the toll, or if you travel in an express lane without a valid FasTrak tag, an image of your license plate will be captured.
First notice issued: toll plus $25 penalty..
Is FasTrak free on weekends?
The express lanes will operate from 5 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. They are free for all drivers on weekends and weeknights. 3-person carpools, buses, vanpools and motorcycles must use a FasTrak Flex toll tag set to 3+ to travel toll free. 2-person carpools pay a toll.

How do I activate my Costco FasTrak?
To activate a new account or add a transponder, FasTrak customers need to register their transponder by clicking here or by calling the South Bay Expressway Customer Service Center at (619) 661-7070.
How do I add a license plate to FasTrak?
You can request additional toll tags by logging into your account online and clicking on “Tags & Vehicles.” You can also download and complete an Additional Toll Tag Request Form and send it to the FasTrak Customer Service Center.

Yes. FasTrak drivers must have a transponder mounted to their vehicle’s windshield.
How long does it take for a toll to post FasTrak?

How does FasTrak know if you are a carpool?
It’s your responsibility to remove the fast track and put it in the bag provided which blocks the signal keeping you from being charged. While you travel the express Lane, those without a FastTrack will trigger a warning light for cops up ahead to check and make sure you are a carpool.
